I just decided on an avatar. It's a pic of Gary Locke (Dem.), the first Chinese American to be elected Governor (Washington State, 1997-2005). I just figured it was fitting since I'm an American on a forum discussing Chinese politics.

Well... for me it's a crazy president who dresses up as manga characters and almost got hit by a water bottle. Not that he's one of my favourites but I like his taste of fashion. And even though his intentions were questionable, he nevertheless brought democracy to the ROC, which was one of Sun Yat Sen's ideals.
May there be only two Chinas in the world

Well my new avatar should be well known by most fans of sci-fi or horror.

Inspired after watching an excellent documentary about him, which my current sig is taken from.
